Hi Honny,

The dates we would like to book the loft are as follows:

  * Weekly, on Tuesday evenings (5pm until 8pm) from the Tuesday 19th
    March to Tuesday 30th April
  * Weekly, on Wednesday evenings (6:30pm until 9pm) from Wednesday 13th
    March to Wednesday 1st May
  * Weekly, on Thursday evenings (5pm until 10pm) from Thursday 14th
    March to Thursday 2nd May

Note that for the first two (Tue/Wed evenings) we are booking the loft
purely as a means of noise management so that we can request people
leave if they are disrupting events in our clubroom. Due to the lack of
sound insulation in Cameron Hall, which affects the UCC clubroom
particularly, the clubroom itself becomes unsuitable for events with
even just a few people making noise in the Loft.

I appreciate that there may be doubts as to whether this is appropriate
usage of the space, however I will highlight that we have had recurring
issues in the past where scheduled events in our clubroom have been made
unpleasant for both attendees and guest presenters due to noise from the
Loft.

Please scroll down to my original email, addressed to Guild Events, for
more details. Thanks again for your understanding.

Best regards,

Felix von Perger
President of the University Computer Club (UCC)
