Hi Taco,
UCC has invested in a decorative shirt rack on which we intend to
display a selection of our club T-shirts.
Preempting official complaints about using Cameron Hall shared space for
club property, would it be possible for you to inspect and approve (in
consultation with the rest of the Tenancy committee as appropriate) the
usage of the space immediately to the right of the UCC clubroom door for
our shirt rack? For the months when keeping the glass doors open is
feasible (they are usually kept shut in the winter due to the cold) we
will make sure that the doors are open such that the rack is not
blocking the walkway, and later in the year we will determine an
appropriate alternative solution.
The reasoning behind this placement is simply to attract attention
towards the clubroom and provide some pleasant decoration to contrast
the otherwise relatively unappealing aesthetic of the rest of the UCC.
I hope this isn't an inappropriate usage of space, and I look forward to
hearing from you.
Best regards,
Felix von Perger
President of the University Computer Club (UCC)
