Hi Tom, and everyone.
Without saying more, I would like the club to reflect on the number of committee members who have left, and the number of people who have been made unwelcome or uncomfortable by the club to this point.
I’ll be speaking directly to both Felix and Nick about how I was treated this afternoon when I went to pick up what I thought were my server rails, without raising the details here I felt extremely humiliated and degraded, and as a consequence did not feel comfortable to stay in Cameron Hall and participate in the Charity Night event.
I would either like an apology from both of them, or failing that, will raise a formal dispute.
Regards,
Melissa

In addition, Felix von Perger indicated that he was no longer interested in fulfilling the role of President of the UCC committee and was only remaining in the position so that the club would not need to go to a general meeting or need to elect any further delegates to the various subcommittees that the club is participating in.

We believe that Felix as President could have handled the issues better and that the actions as such have led to negative impacts for people. The action may have had unintended consequence, but the consequences must be considered nonetheless.

Considering the current dispute, we do not believe that it is in the best interest of the club to wash this over with the bureaucratic sprinkling of a reshuffle, so we’d rather that a General Meeting be held so that any changes be done formally.

We thank him for his time on the UCC committee and all the hard work that he has put in throughout his years at the club.
