/Looks like the original of this didn't send on Monday, so I'm resending
now./
Hi all,
UCC currently has tickets for both Cameron Hall Quiz Night and Camp in
3D for sale in the machine room. The following procedures apply for
selling them.
Quiz Night
The tickets are just inside the door on top of the spare air
conditioner. All you need to do is either check the payment has been
made on Dispense or accept the relevant amount of cash, before handing
out the right number of tickets. Tickets are $18 each or $120 for a
table (8 tickets). Quiz Night is an 18+ event but any adult is allowed
to attend (student or non-student) with no further requirements.
Camp
Camp tickets are a little more involved, because there is information to
be distributed and forms to be signed and verified. Everything you will
need is in the same place in the machine room. Payments can be made once
again either via Dispense or by cash, but you need to confirm that
everything is in order before you take payment and hand out a ticket.
1. If anyone is interested in attending the camp, the first step is to
show them the information package and get them to read through it.
There are a few copies in the machine room, so don't let them run
off with them. Let them know that there is a link to the info pack
online and on each Facebook event if they want to refer back to it.
2. Next, take one of the blank forms and get them to fill it in. Make
sure they read and understand the waiver before they sign it, and
make sure it's been filled in properly before accepting it.
Importantly, the emergency contact can't be someone else going to Camp.
3. If they're a non-student, take a photo of their valid ID (driver's
license, passport or WA photo/proof-of-age card) and submit it to
the organizers via the link: bit.ly/CampNonStudent
4. Payment: if they've ticked Dispense, check the cokelog to make sure
they've actually paid. Otherwise, take their case ($100 before 6
November, $110 otherwise) and put it in one of the provided
envelopes. Mark the envelope with "Camp in 3D ticket sale", the name
of the attendee, your name, the date and the contents of the envelope.
5. Hand out the physical ticket to the attendee as confirmation. If
there aren't any left, that means there are no more spots open. Once
you've done that, place the completed form and envelope in the
plastic sleeve in the machine room with the others.
I know it's a bit involved, but making sure each ticket is sold
correctly is important for the event to run as required by our approvals.
Cheers,
James [MPT]
