They worked for me to get something usable, but I only every
tried the server side.
The "shell is missing thing" is what I mentioned under 4) there.
The problem with Android is loads of half-assed stub functions
that are not well-implemented enough to actually make anything
work while at the same time making everything compiles as if there
was no issue.
