The plastic thingies are "storageworks bricks".
They're proprietary plastic carriers that incorporate wide-SCSI, power
and SCSI ID selection into one connector.
Our resident DEC fiend (you know the one) said that he might be able to
score a couple for us.

Morwong wants wide drives inside the Storageworks bricks and has a Honda-50
connector at the back, for connection of Narrow devices.
A 9GB Barracuda, like the one I had decided to buy for morwong, is about
$520.
The one I've agreed to buy is $200 & will still be under its 2 year
warranty. It won't be here for a little while, as its coming via COD.

Does the UCC want it, or not?
