Yeah, webmail sucks big time atm. The points you outline, coupled with 
the fact that it takes like 1 minute to log in, which was mentioned in a 
previous post, make it unusable.

The Hula Project (http://www.hula-project.com) seems like a very cool 
alternative, if people are interested to switch.
I'd love to give it a shot and I'll help in setting that up instead if 
people agree.
