I'm currently only running on 6gb.I've got an HTPC which has an SSD as does my laptop and I know what I'm missing out on but I've seen.  The load time seems to be fairly important as games that I run at home without an SSD take quite a while longer to load stages especially if textures are set to the highest levels.I'll probably be going for a Samsung 840 Pro.
