[tech] Active Directory migration status

I spent some time working on the Active Directory migration today and 
made some progress.
What I've noted so far:

     * we are using sssd to process authentication, winbind appears to 
be redundant.
     * authentication is working fine but access control fails, changing 
the sssd config to not check
         whether the user is allow to access the system works, this 
means the issue is with how the
         domain controller is set up. We should make sure that users 
have permission to log into TESTERLINUXVM
    * GID 0 might work with the current config.
