[tech] SSSD Kerberos Failures on Mooneye

Evening All,

While looking into a mail forwarding issue, I've picked up that
SSSD/kerberos seems to be fairly unhappy on mooneye at the moment. We're
seeing the following error in daemon.log every 5-10 minutes:
mooneye [sssd[krb5_child[9901]]]: Preauthentication failed

Everything seems to be working ok otherwise, but it's not making me feel
warm and fuzzy seeing regular  kerberos issues on our main mail server. I'm
not currently across the AD auth well enough to want to go poking too
deeply into what's going on lest I break things so does anyone more
familiar with the setup have any ideas?

A quick survey around out other machines, we're seeing the same error
logged infrequently (<10 times a day) on a number of our other Linux
machines. None as frequently as mooneye however. It may just be noise, but
worth looking at.
