Hi UCCans,
This sounds pretty interesting, and I'd be keen to see some other people
from UCC come along.
FYI this was posted in Data Science Club of UWA, then reposted in the
UCC Facebook group:

Hi,
I realise this is short notice but my colleague Dr Jin Hong is away for
a couple of weeks next week and I wanted to get everyone who has
expressed an interest in this to meet.
We plan to meet in Seminar Room 1.24 in Computer Science at 4pm this
Thursday. We will get a brief overview of everyone’s interests and
skills and Jin will do a short presentation on just one of the very many
exploits for gaining a privileged shell through a buffer overflow.
If you can’t make it, don’t worry, we will organise more sessions
starting after exams.
Feel free to pass this on to anyone who may also be interested in taking
part.
Hopefully see some or all of you then.
David and Jin
