The vive headset seems to have died after last VR night, and the suspect
is the HDMI cable from the link box to the headset.
We need to replace it, but it may involve replacing the power and USB
cables too? They are all bundled tidily together to make the headset
nice and managed. This may also be an excuse to replace the flaking face
shield and the head mount, to make it more comfortable.
Current thoughts are looking toward something like the Vive Deluxe Audio
Strap

(or third party equivalents) to replace the head mount and provide an
audio solution that is more sanitary than cheap headphones. New long
HDMI cables, USB, and power cables, all slim enough to fit into the
headset and run to the link box.
Or perhaps we move to the wireless adapter
<https://www.amazon.com.au/99HANN010-00-Vive-Wireless-Adapter-PC/dp/B07GKHNBCT>?
Price is pretty high for this, could easily just buy a Quest 2 for less
money.
Thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.
