Good plan, [GPO] and I moved oneonefour.net to VentraIP.com.au yesterday
as well. Still in progress, https://vip.ventraip.com.au/dashboard says:

It's in http://icann.org/epp#pendingTransfer status:

It is worth keeping an eye on the pricing and features, and make sure
the lock-in is not too extreme. ventraip.com.au has the advantage that
it offers .au and .asn.au domains and we paid in AUD, but on these two
transfers they did cost 26%-38% more. They may well be a little extra
again if we simply renew them next year - we got a small discount on
the transfer-in.

I don't think porkbun.com offers .au or .asn.au domains.

At today's 2025-04-15 committee meeting, the standing cloud budget
was refreshed and set to $50/month. The purpose was previously (
https://www.ucc.gu.uwa.edu.au/infobase/committee/2020/2020-07-09.ucc)
described as for "VMs, network traffic, storage"; now refreshed as
"for all cloud related expenses". I think we should probably view our
non-core domain names as fitting within that and reconsider every now
and then if/when to deprecate them, or what they're useful for.
