All UCC Members,

There will be a Special General Meeting of the University Computer Club on
Wednesday the 6th of October, 1999.

This meeting has been called by a majority of the committee as a Special
General Meeting (although it was not called at a committee meeting, the
constitution states that the committee may at any time call a Special
General Meeting, as long as the 10 days notice is satisfied).

The following people have given notice of their resignation from the UCC
Committee due to other commitments:

  David Luyer, Secretary
  Sam Bentink, OCM
  Mikolaj Habryn, OCM

A notice of meeting, notice of motions and agenda will be posted on the
club notice-board at least 4 days before the meeting. (Curiously, the
constitution doesn't require a notice of meeting on the notice-board, but
does require that the notice of motion is alongside the notice of
meeting which is assumed to be on the notice-board).

As it is not required by the constitution or decided at this point, the
actual time of the meeting is not yet announced. It is likely to be
either 1pm or 6pm and will be decided at the next committee meeting and
announced in the minutes.

Any proposed motions should be sent to me at least 5 days before the
meeting.

This message constitutes a notice of meeting under the UCC Constitution.

David Luyer
UCC Secretary 1999
