[ucc-announce] Announcement of Special General Meeting

                   UCC Special General Meeting Sem 2, 2006

                           OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

As per UCC Constitution section 18.2, this is an official announcement and
notification a UCC special general meeting.

This meeting will be held on TUESDAY THE 15TH OF AUGUST 2006 in the CAMERON HALL
LOFT above the UCC. The meeting will begin at ONE (1) PM SHARP (this is the
common lunch hour).

This meeting serves to elect a new Ordinary Committee Member to replace Matt
Johnston. Nominations in advance are not required, if you wish to nominate
yourself or another person, you can do so at the meeting.

As with previous UCC general meetings, voting will done by the "N-1" system.
Unlike other Cameron Hall clubs, the UCC does not allow voting by proxy. Voting
over the Internet is NOT be permitted as it makes it very hard for the returning
officers. Only financial members of the club may vote in the SGM.

The tentative agenda for the SGM is as follows:

  1. Election of a replacement OCM
      3.1  Election of two (2) returning officers
      3.3  Elections conducted by returning officers
	  3.3.6  One Ordinary Committee Member (OCM)
