Clubroom Cleanup
----------------

The clubroom is filthy, and the Guild is organising a slash-and-dump campaign
to clear the corridors next week, so we're having a hastily-organised cleanup
THIS WEEKEND - Sunday, 16th July - at 2 PM in the clubroom.

Because of the late notice, we won't be throwing anyone out of Door for not
showing up, but we'd really appreciate as many hands as possible, even if
only for a couple of hours each. We'll probably be going for a good few
hours; if you're not sure whether to head down, call us on 6488 3901 or
just come along.

Because of the Guild cleanup, you should not treat the UCC as a dumping
ground for at least the next few weeks, and if there's anything out in the
corridors you want to save, pick it up BEFORE this weekend or it will be
declared freely available property.

Free pizza for the useful people (as judged by the President).

SYSTEMS DOWNTIME
================

Coinciding with the cleanup this Sunday, Wheel group members will be
taking
the main fileserver (martello) down to increase the disk space available.

This will affect most remote services, including remote login, web pages,
incoming mail and many clubroom machines. It will be done as fast as
possible, and when it's done members will have more space available.
