[ucc-announce] Fwd: UCC's Back-to-Uni LAN

Semester 2 of 2010 is upon us, and as a warmup to the UCC's MegaLAN(TM)
we will be holding a LAN in the Cameron Hall loft at the end of the
second week.
     This will be a largish LAN just like the Easter one and will have
prizes again (Congrats to KBS for winning the last TF2 tournament, INT3
plan to beat you this time) and will also be advertised in G-News, so
RSVP soon to ensure your place, as numbers are limited.

RSVP to lan at ucc.asn.au (including your team name if you are planning on
competing in a tournament)

What:   UCC LAN
When:   4PM Saturday 7th of August  -  8AM Sunday 8th of August
Where:  Cameron Hall Loft
Games:  Team Fortress 2, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (Hosted at UCC),
Freelancer (Hosted at UCC), and whatever else you want!

There will be a small TF2 competition held too, with
as-yet-to-be-determined prizes. To make life easier for us organisers,
please nominate your team name when RSVPing if you plan on competing (if
you want to compete but don't have a team, just say so, and you will be
put in with the other no-teams)

Team Fortress 2:
- Three Maps (cp_badlands, cp_fastlane and koth_nucleus)
- Each map is played to the best of three rounds
- All games are played with full tournament rules (no random criticals,
no damage spread, tournament mode on)
- Five (5) players to each team, so sorry KBS, you're going to have to
kick someone out again
