[ucc-announce] End-of-Exams LAN - 10/Dec

Dear All!

As you may have noticed from a previous email, we are holding a LAN 
after the exam period, on the 10th of December to be exact. So why not 
come along and enjoy a night of social gaming? To make this a little 
more special, we're planning on holding (at least) two gaming 
tournaments; Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Team Fortress 2.

Please send a RSVP to lan at ucc.asn.au if you intend to attend as it makes 
organising that much easier, and if you want to pre-organise a team for 
the tournaments please include that in your email.

Details:
When   - 4 PM Saturday 10/Dec/2011 'til 9 AM Sunday
Where  - Cameron Hall Loft
Cost   - $Free for Members, $5 for non-members (invite your friends!)
Prizes - $5 dispense credit for each member of the winning team. If 
you're not a member, then you can drink your prize on the night :)

== Tournaments ==
Team Fortress 2
- 6 player teams, with class restrictions (2,2,2,  1,1,1,  1,2,1)
- Best of 5 on 3 maps (maps to be decided on the night, but usually 5 
point CP)
- Standard competition settings (no random crits, no damage spread, 
fixed weapon patterns)

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (flexible)
- 5 player teams (one panzer per team)
- Stopwatch Game Mode (Complete the objectives faster than the other 
team did to win)
- Random map from Gold Rush, Battery, Oasis and Fuel Dump
