Hi UCCans, 

This is the final update to the agenda for the Special General Meeting
this Thursday. 

Some information for those who are attending:
The meeting will be held in the Economics Conference Room ECONF 3.73 The
meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30pm, but please try to get there a
little early and bring some identification, student cards are fine, as
Committee will be checking memberships to ensure voting rights at the
door. 

I strongly urge everyone who is attending and planning on voting in the
constitutional changes to familiarize yourselves with the changes in
order to make discussion brief and voting informed. 

The agenda of the upcoming SGM is as follows: 

COMMITTEE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCES 

1. Vote of no confidence in Felix Von Perger as UCC President with the
requirement that he step down immediately if the vote passes. 

Additional agenda items include: 

2. [JMA] A vote of no confidence in Grace Rosario [MLG] in the position
of secretary, with the requirement they step down effective immediately
if the vote passes. 

3. [FVP] Motion to hold the election of any committee positions which
may be vacant, or have been vacated as a result of previous motions, and
hold elections for any committee positions which subsequently become
vacant. 

CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGES 

4. [TBB] "proposed constitutional change to section 2 (definitions) to
include: Notice-Board
Both the UCC-Announce Mailing list as well as Clubroom signage."  

5. [THA]/Committee "Motion to amend the constitution such that it
ensures that members be heard out before being removed from the club"
(https://github.com/ucc/uccconstitution/pull/2) 

6. [333] "Motion to add a new subsection under section 18.11 of the UCC
constitution with the following conditions: Members of the Club may only
vote in an SGM or OGM if (a) they are a current member of the Committee;
or (b) they hold a valid Club membership, and have held this membership
for a contiguous period of time beginning 21 days prior to the meeting
itself, or have held this membership for a contiguous period of time
beginning prior to the initial announcement of the meeting, whichever
period is shortest." 

7. Nadia: Motion changes to the constitution, specifically changing all
mentions of "the current edition of Robert's Rules of Order Newly
Revised" to refer to "the current edition of the Standing Orders of the
Student Guild of the University of Western Australia". 

8. [JWB] Motion to modify Section 20 of the constitution to insert:
     20.2: This may only occur after said person has held said role for
at least six (6) months.
     20.3: It shall be the exclusive right of the committee to, in an
ordinary committee meeting, waive 20.2 if they see it necessary.
And to adjust the numbering of the other points in section 20 to
accommodate this." 

GENERAL AND GROUP MEMBERSHIPS 

9. [JMA] The removal of Andrew Adamson's [BOB] position as a member of
Wheel, with the requirement he surrenders all keys he possesses that
relates to the Club, Clubroom or Cameron hall immediately if the vote
Passes. 

10. [JMA] The cancellation of Andrew Adamson's [BOB] Life Membership. 

11. [JMA] The cancellation, with full financial restitution of this
year's memberships fees if applicable, of Andrew Adamson's [BOB]
membership, including banning from use of all UCC services and forums
effective immediately if the vote passes. 

CLUB PURCHASES 

12. [BEN] Motion for the club to purchase a full-grown African elephant,
with a budget of $10,000, to be named "Stampy".
