Hey Unigames!
The 4th annual Unigames Camp is coming up, and the theme this year is
Clerics & Cultists!
*Early Bird Tickets: $100 each ($110 after the 25th of June)*
*Sign-Up forms available from the Unigames Clubroom*
*3:00PM Friday 1st July - 10:00AM Monday 4th July*
*Camp Leschenaultia*
*400 Leschenaultia Place, Chidlow, WA *
*WHAT*
The biggest event of the Unigames calendar, camp is a really great weekend
away with friends that is filled with boardgames and one-shots. We're also
having a LARP, a quiz night, and at* least* one magic draft.
*WHO*
All Unigames members may attend camp! You must however be 18 years or
over. Non-UWA
students will need to provide a copy of their ID (driver's licence) upon
sign-up. For the purposes of risk management, tickets will not be sold to
non-renewing members who join after the 13th of June 2016.
*TRANSPORT*
Campers will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the camp.
We recommend carpooling with other club-members. For help in finding people
to car-pool with, contact us via one of the methods outlined below.
*VOTING*
The federal election falls on the Saturday (2nd July) of camp. If you're an
Australian Citizen & 18 years or over you're required to vote. This can be
done before camp via early or postal voting. There will also be the option
to vote in person during camp (the local polling place is a 4 minute drive
away). Remember to enroll/update your enrollment details before the 23rd of
May.
*ALCOHOL *
Attendees may bring their own alcoholic beverages to camp. ALL of these
beverages must be surrendered to Camp Leaders upon arrival. Drinks will be
served back to guests by RSAs during designated drinking hours (Friday -
Sat 6:00PM - 00:00AM, Sunday 6:00PM - 10:30PM). It is advised that
attendees should only bring beer, wine, cider, or pre-mixed drinks, and
should not bring more than ~11 standards drinks for consumption over the
weekend.
This is a drug free event. Failure to comply with the law or the event code
of conduct (attached with this email) will result in removal from camp, and
if necessary, the police being contacted.
Please find attached the Attendee Information Pack with this email. It's 9
pages of super useful information; such as the attendee code of conduct
(you must have read and agreed to this prior to signing up to camp!), and
contact information for the camp leaders and the camp itself and MUCH MORE!
Please note some of the information, such as staff rosters are subject to
change and we'll advise you all of final rosters before and during the
event.
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the information pack. If
there are any questions/concerns please don't hesitate to ask, you can
reach us:
- On the Unigames Facebook page
- On the Facebook camp event page
- Email one of our camp leaders
- Come talk to us in the Unigames clubroom
More information will be sent out before the event.
Looking forwards to another great camp with a bunch of great people!
