*Unigames Newsletter 1 - Dungeons and Digests*

Welcome, both old and new members to another year of Unigames!
In case you don't know me, I'm Donald the new/old secretary of Unigames.
It's my job to make sure you all know what's happening.
A great deal has happened already this year, and this newsletter/digest
should hopefully help you all keep track of the many events we run, so you
can attend all the cool stuff!

12th March - Magic Learn to Play + Sealed League sign-up! Want to learn
Magic?
14th March - Board Games Night! Come down to the club and play some of the
best board games we have to offer.
21st March - Prosh! Join us for early morning newspaper selling, with a
Monster Mash theme.

*What happened this week?*
This week was the first week under the reign of the new committee, and we
have started off the year strong. For those of you not in the know, the
current committee is:

President: Gavin Tay Fernandez
Vice-President: Emily Schofield
Treasurer: Alaura Evans
Secretary: Donald Sutherland
Librarian: Nadia Wichmann
Fresher Rep: Jasmine Sullivan
OCMs: Aoibhinn O'Shea, Alistair Langton, Jake Neilson

The minutes from the AGM are still being finalised, but will be released
with the next digest.

	President's Report:
		- Gavin doesn't have much to do for once

		- Fresher campaign organisation still in progress
		- Emily is mad at people
		- Total of 8 fresher campaigns being planned, all are full
		
	Treasurer's Report:
		>Alaura: Make deposit
		>Alaura: Do food run
		Taylor still hasn't let go of Treasurer from 2016
		Transfer still not recieved from Cameron Hall-oween
		>Alaura: Look into Cameron Hall-oween transfer
		Account Balance: $5,208.32

		- Slept in, minutes delegated to Alistair
		- To be fair, I've been used to waking up at 10AM on Tuesdays for the last three years.

		Magic:
			>Alaura: do EMP and book loft for sealed league on Monday
			- Sealed league sign-up event + learn to play Magic event on Monday!
			>Alaura: make a poll to gauge interest in drafts
			>Donald: Buy a box of Rivals and Ixalan
			- Next prerelease (Dominaria) has been sanctioned for April 22nd
			
		Wargames and Painting:
			- Emily is organising a paint day for Week 5

			- Teaming up with other Cameron Hall clubs as usual

			- 29th-2nd, during easter break
			- Volunteers for Swancon required
			- Pretty much the entire committee volunteers
			
		Quiz Night:
			- Gavin and Alistair to be Unigames reps
			- Dates to be discussed with other clubs
			- Maybe Week 10? (11th of May)
			>Gavin: Contact Tav about Quiz night availability
		
		Escape Hunt:
			- Group excursion to Fremantle escape rooms
			- After study break
			>Emily and Jasmine: Contact Escape Hunt to organise
