[URC] Radios and alcohol.

Aparrently people are desperate for us to combine radios and alcohol
(something that i've generally tried to avoid). See attached.

As a side note the ACA have said they are going to bring in a foundation
level licence to amateur radio. This basically means that getting
started is going to be much easier (they mainly focus on safety, and
some very basic theory). With less theory, you can do much less stuff,
and can only use commercial equipment, but if it's a lot of effort to
do the higher levels of electronics and radio study it might be a good
place to start.

Is anyone interested in learning the theory for amateur stuff at any
level? Also, what else do we want to get the club to do before we run
out of semester? Given the last couple of tries, i'm going to try
organising stuff through this list to start with, and ratify stuff later
if needed (that is, call a physical committee meeting when we actually
have stuff we need to vote on).

Anything else?

David
