[committee] What should have been this weeks meeting

Hey committee,

 

We didn't meet quorum at this week's meeting, largely due to conflicting
timetables. Seeing as we're just coming to second semester, this prompts me
to suggest that we should revise our regular meeting time. I have labs
Monday and probably Tuesday afternoons, 2-5pm, have lectures Wednesday
afternoon until 4pm, and can't do Thursdays after 4pm. My preference is for
4pm Wednesday.

 

There were also a few items of business for the meeting we just missed.

.         Trent needs to be removed from coke.

.         Ash may still need to be paid for the trial clubroom laptop.

.         There would have been a discussion of the MegaLAN. Unless there is
anything urgent needing committee approval (reimbursements, etc), I'm happy
to talk about this next Tuesday.

.         Semester starts next week, meaning lots of people through the
clubroom. I think it could do with a quick tidy and vacuum before then, so
I'll be in Friday afternoon to do that - please join me if you're able.

.         We have a club carnival in week 2. This is a good recruiting
opportunity, and it is probably our second best time of the year for new
members. If we want space, we need to book it at the SOC meeting next week.
This brings me to...

.         SOC meeting, next week. We need someone to go. Is anyone
available? (I don't yet know if I'll be free then)

.         Guild clubs busy bee, Sunday after week 1. Again, we need to have
representatives there to tick the box, but this is also a good time to clean
up properly before the club carnival - no point bringing in freshers if the
place already smells :P

o   Should we make this a door group cleaning day? I remember hearing an
argument against putting a door cleanup on the busy bee day in the past, but
I don't recall why.

.         Camp. I would quite like it if whoever currently has information
about the organisation of the camp would give committee-only a full rundown
of what has been done so far and where we stand.

 

There's probably more that needs talking about.

Please respond with any responses, additions, comments or general
capslocking, and I'll hopefully see some of you on Friday.
