There is a lot more I can say in response to your comments, but in the interests of not inflaming this discussion further, I’m going to remain silent.

For most of my life I’ve been an Orthodox Jewish trans lesbian, so I’m in a very good position to comment. If being conservative means believing in individual responsibility and self reliance, then your quote is entirely without basis.

In the Trump era, it means something else, though, doesn’t it?
