Hi all,

As you may be aware, O-Day is this on Friday this week (19 February).
There are many roles needing to be filled, from set up, running the
stall, holding the room, and pack up at the end of the day.

Currently, the schedule looks like this:

  * 8 am to 9:30 am: Carry/drive equipment down to James Oval, begin
    setting up marquee and stall.
  * 9:30 to 10:30 am: Finish stall setup, do final checks.
  * 11 am to 3 pm: Official O-Day operating time.
  * 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm: Stall pack-up and remove equipment from James Oval.
  * 4:30 pm to 5 pm: Finish pack-up at UCC.

Prospective new members will be around from at least 10 am until 4 pm,
so we are also aiming to have the room open for at least that period.

In addition to the regular O-Day requirements, we will have to comply
with the event's COVID Safety Plan this year. The organisers have given
us a SafeWA QR code to display at our stall, and we will be continuing
to use the code on the room. If you are helping run one of these
locations, please make sure all visitors scan in, and try to keep people
as socially-distanced as practicable.

I will have my car available to carry down some of the heavier
equipment. We also have a new marquee, which is much less obtuse to set
up than the previous one :)

While the forecast weather is milder than in previous years, don't
forget to bring enough water to get you through the day. We will make
sunscreen available for everyone to use, as well.

As always, the more volunteers we have, the lighter work it is for
everyone. If you can only show up for some of the time, no worries.
Every helping hand is appreciated.

If you are available to help out, we'd appreciate you letting us know.
You can reply to this email, or visit our signup link:
https://signup.com/go/KBzCHmX and claim one or more of the slots.

Hope to see you there!

Regards,

James Arcus
