Yes, it's gotten very bad - this is the reason for the greater-than-usual
number of grumblings about it recently. The TISC 8mm drive is sitting
on something or other just _under_ the bench - I was worried that it had
gone walkies until I eventually saw it there. Dunno about the other one.
