Hello,

After much pain, suffering and negotiation, we at last have word that we
are good to go. So finally I can say that (barring nuclear strikes or
other similar disasters) the Sleepover is DEFINITELY on.

THIS SATURDAY (22nd). 7pm. Cameron Hall.
Movies. LAN gaming. Console games. Anime(hopefully). Board/card
games. Free Pizza and breakfast. Other Fun Stuff (TM).
All for a good cause.

Hopefully the lead-up means this won't be too short notice for anyone.

A few random comments:
You are reminded that the Sleepover is an ALCOHOL FREE event. As one of
the conditions on us being able to hold this event, there will be signs up
stating that there are no alcohol, cigarettes or other drugs allowed on
the premises. We would appreciate it if everyone adhered to this.

Given the late notice, it would be helpful if people could try and get the
message out to as many people as possible via word of mouth etc.

I apologise in advance for any incovenience that the rushed preparations
and bureaucratic conditions may cause. Please bear with us, things will
possibly be a bit shoddy.

I know that several people will not be able to make it (for which I also
apologise). As a result, it would be great if people could try and
a) rope other people into coming; or
b) gather a bit more sponsorship money
in order to make up the "shortfall" we are likely to have. Of course, this
isn't crucial, but it would be nice ;)

There were a few people who said they could bring a spare computer for
general use at the LAN. If they are still able to do so, that would be
wonderful. And if anyone else feels like joining in, even better ;)

In my last email, I mentioned a website (unigames people please ignore -
you didn't get that one ;P), but I forgot to give an url. Well as it
turned out the wonderfull UCC people were able to restore normality
quickly so it wasn't that relevant. However for the sake of completeness,
I will put the information up anyway at:

That's about all I can think of at the moment - updates may be
forthcoming ;)
Hope I see all of you on Saturday.

Seeya,
Chas.
