[Unigames] Club room changes & Event cancellations

Hey folks,

I’m sure that a lot of you have been keeping up with the evolution of the
Covid-19 situation. This is a worrying situation for many people, so please
remember to be sensitive and safe. In light of updates from the Federal
Government and the UWA Guild, any indoor gathering of 100+ people has been
banned. While most Unigames events are not this big, we still have a number
of preventive measures that we’ve taken;
1. No more than 10 people should be in the club room at any given time, to
try and maintain some amount of distance.
2. All events have been cancelled for the coming weeks. Hopefully we will
be able to restore normal services soon.
3. We recommend that campaigns be conducted over discord or some other
location if you don’t need to be using the club room. This will include
fresher campaigns.
4. SOC has recommended that interactions be restricted to students only.
While we aren’t going to enforce this with doorings, please be mindful of
others and who you are interacting with.
5. If you are sick, please don’t come to Cameron Hall. Self isolate and
prevent spreading illness as much as possible. Gatekeepers will be allowed
to door people if this isn’t being followed.

Please remember to stay safe and try to keep yourself healthy. Wash your
hands and don’t touch things you don’t need to -Including the dice!!! They
did get washed a week ago but still.
We absolutely encourage that you continue to engage with the clubs themes,
but it’s 2020 and we have the magic of the internet.
